John Wesley Fellowship Society Award

The “John Wesley Fellowship Society Award” is a recognition given to men who model Wesleyan discipleship through active faith, service, and leadership, especially within the mission of UMM. Honored recipients demonstrate:

1. Spiritual Commitment
  • Consistent Christian life
  • Growth in faith (“holiness of heart and life”)
2. Service & Outreach
  • Helping the poor, marginalized, or underserved
  • Community leadership and compassion
3. Leadership & Integrity
  • Ethical leadership in church, business, or society
  • Living out Christian principles in daily life
4. Discipleship & Mentorship
  • Investing in others’ spiritual growth
  • Teaching or leading small groups or ministries

At the 2026 National meeting of the United Methodist Men NACP (National Association of Conference Presidents) Wayne Prejean of Louisiana was given this prestigious recognition.

Wayne has served with the Wesleyan Foundation for Men as a board member and has been active for decades with United Methodist Men. He is a past President of the Louisiana Annual Conference UMM.

Donations for the John Wesley Fellowship Society directly benefit the work of the Wesleyan Foundation for Men.
